Student photo
Student photo : my vision of modern student portrait and two things you would never guess about the girl on the picture
I have a very definitive vision of student portraits – make each and one of them unique for every student I photograph. I try to incorporate something personal as well as the white student dress, the student ball dress and some casual clothes in my student photo shoot. I also love going to different locations as I photograph to make the photo shoot more fun and different. Despite the crazy pretty normal weather for Goteborg (both sun and heavy rain in two hours) during our photo shoot we’ve got a bunch of really good pictures. Some of them with well-known Gothenburg skyline as the backdrop. :) So let me introduce – Lisa.
If you meet this charming girl with light chestnut colored hair in the street you would never guess two things about her: that she actually sailed all the way over Atlantic ocean (!) and that most of all in the whole world she loves writing and painting.
Lisa with her soft smile is very curious and independent for her age. She shares a little apartment not far from Gothenburg, where she lives together with a friend during the weekdays and spends the most of her time in school swept in to the universe of molecules and algae.
My acquaintance with Lisa started when she was doing one of her projects – a part of the Natural science program that she is graduating in June. Together with two other girls they published a cookbook on how to use algae in cooking everyday food. That’s different! And who can guess that Natural science program was not her first choice when choosing gymnasium. Lisa was leaning towards Health and social care program, but her sister went to the same school a couple of years earlier and talked her into choosing Natural science.
Lisa is very sincere and selfless girl – a rare combination these days. Just minutes before we met for her student photo session she found a laptop on the bus stop. While we were driving to our first photo session location she contacted the owner and within 20 minutes the laptop was returned into the shaking hands of a happy owner, who gave Lisa a big hug before she jumped back into her car.
As many other students she is looking forward to her graduation and a relaxed summer days when she can take it easy and plan her future life and many fun trips. It’s been a huge pleasure of mine photographing Lisa!
Stay fabulous and get in touch!
